About Me
A Lifelong Curiosity
Nautical Roots Travel grew out of a fascination with people—their stories, traditions, and the places they call home. That curiosity began as a teenager during a summer in Puebla, Mexico, and deepened while earning my Anthropology degree at the University of Houston, where I learned how culture shapes language, food, art, landscapes, and everyday life.
Global Perspective
Serving in the U.S. Navy and living in Japan further opened my eyes to the richness of different cultures and the power of travel to transform perspective. These experiences inspire me to create trips that go beyond sightseeing, and foster real connections with people and places.
